I believe they're right about bosses being totally vague with their reasons as to why they have fired a person. I experienced that the other day when I was fired. I didn't even have any problems prior and they sat me down and told me a bunch of Bull how they didn't think I was fit for the server job even though customers loved me. There is way more to getting fired than we think. I really believe that many external things and behind the scenes politics had something to do with it. Not so much me

Dont worry about anything till you're 40 - at that age you're probably half way through your life at least so dont worry about it - it's a one way trip so just get away with it ;-)

This is great... I'm probably going to be fired in June and I relate to what they're saying. I definitely know I'm in the wrong industry (insurance is HORRIBLE), I haven't professionally grown in my position and the department I work in is crap. And I readily admit that the unhappiness is shown in my work. So I'm ready to go. I always do the best I can, but you have to read the writing on the wall and know when to say when.

I got fired from my job of 4 years. I didn't mind it, but there were things I hated and resented about the company. I got sick of the people who were there less than me getting all the good hrs and I was getting the left overs despite being top in sales the entire time I was there. So eventually my anger about it and my apartment problems got the better if me and I snapped at work to a important dickhead client and that is all she wrote. Now I am jobless.

i got in trouble at my job and got written up i think i might get fired though cuz they told me to leave early. I'm really worried because it was one of my 2 the jobs supporting me and I was wondering what's gonna happen and im pretty sure i won't find a job with that on my record. anyone with any advice I would appreciate it?

My wife has whored herself at my job. To some how get back at me... Now I went from 40hrs on the job to 24hrs... Soon to be fired. I used to work in the office area of this job so i know the tactics. It makes me laugh that a company would allow there better workers to get canned for nonsense. This is for the better though... Looking for a better company and will finalize my divorce. Seperated(not legally) now...

I turned it off when she went into the whole "He chased me around the office, and when I didn't reciprocate I was fired" bullshit. We ALL have issues with many of the bosses we have. So I wasn't gonna listen to another woman say how she did nothing wrong in her past job(s), and that is was the MEN who fucked everything up and not her.

That's where I say, ENOUGH. Video is done at that point.

@freezinteen It's better not to work period. Just do what I do and get an on-call job that pays BIG money for little hours. These day's you get fired way to easily and the work isn't worth the money. A job is just a JOB, something you get easily and lose easily. Its no different than a job you do in your Grand Theft Auto game.

Why do some employers tell you that if they fire you, you will not be able to collect unemployment benefits because they will fight against it. Then they say that they have never lost a case. They have already fired you, why block your cashflow? It isn't that much money.

I got fired on my day off.  They couldn't even give me the respect and talked to me to my face about it. But, I didn't like that job anyway. They sucked and being that they have a high employee turnover rate, I should have known it was coming. I know it is hard out there right now, but I have a sense of freedom.

i was fired yesterday from the post office.... well they said i left mail in the relay boxes and i know for a fact i didnt... the guy who drops the mail off to relay boxes made mistakes, they blamed it on me.. fired

I think I am about to experience my first one. I work 2 jobs and one of the jobs I went from fulltime to partime. I been there for over 3 years and gained pretty much nothing but a paycheck from it. The new place I work at pays about the same, more freedom and they pay for my college. Soon, I just show up later and later to the parttime job. I know they they will fire me sooner or later for being late. Just don't know why I didn't quit. I hate being there.

Should never work a job you hate if you have other ways out. I would have never found the other job if I didn't take steps to move away from the deadend job. Fire me if they must but I am better off without them. Might look bad on my record but the way I reason it is that if I am that bad, they wouldn't have let me work there for over 3 years.

OH trust me, I tried to leave on a good note till they started attacking me personally. They said that if I think I was that important that I should just go home, and I did. I didn't need it. I just didn't need it. If they can't realize that the people working for them are the ones making it happen, they're the ones thinking highly of their own self importance sitting in their office hiding from customers.
