My first car was one of these. Had a 225 slant six that I rebuilt with my dad--in body. It was a dependable set of wheels until it lost a piston bearing.
Always great to see one of these Mopars. I had one for 10 years, Fury 1 in the metallic blue. Never failed me. Still running somewhere, I hope. The quarterpanels rusted to pieces, of course, but that was one faithful companion. You are lucky to have one!

the P series dyna glass tires of the 1960s would run out before the engines would back then...tire technology sucked back in the 1960s

I think a '66 Fury 2-door sedan is what Buford Pusser was driving when he and his wife were ambushed back in '67.
