How To Get More Effects On Windows Movie Maker

i downloaded some effects but when i use them it makes my pics blurry. know any way to get them to not be blurry when i use the effects? :)

@gummybears1498 some of the effects ARE blurring effects. make sure ur using one that has nothing to do with blur. and when you play it back, it might look choppy. Thats ok. Once you save the movie as a Movie File, the choppiness will go away

kay guys, i use this website all the time, i'm like the master haha :)

you have to make sure:

1. you save it to the AddOnTFX folder

2. when you save it, it ends in .xml (for individual ones)

3. you don't have moviemaker open while you're doing it.

but yeah the packs worked for me but if its not for you then you could probably just do them individually by going to the source and making an xml file from the code it takes you to. if that made any sense at all haha

Hi, I followed your video step by step and downloaded a pack (the Other Effects).

But I can't seem to find it in the Effects tab in my Windows Movie Maker. Is there any solution?

@charzard28 not really. Its a hit or miss download. No one is really sure why it doesn't work for everyone. Try again in a few days or download a different pack. Try different browsers and ways of downloading. If it still doesn't work, then im not sure.

When you open the movie maker, it sometimes says some files are corrupted, but take a look theyre all their its just a glitch

@TippsForPSP yes, it does. It all depends on your computer. First time I tried it, it didn't work. Then it did. Make sure you have the same version of windows movie maker and google chrome as me for it to work out.

If you get the windows xp movie maker (2.6) itll work on any computer. XP vista or w7, itll work. Wehn it says what folder , change Windows Move Maker or Windows LIVE Movie M<aker to Movie Maker 2.6

Then itll work. Garanteed. :)
