i agree that the stupid parents should not let the kid bang on the glass. But to everyone who is commenting that the gorillas are smarter than the kid.. that kid is going to grow up to learn how to read, do math, drive a car, operate a computer, talk to other humans, and possibly learn a second language or play a musical instrument, while the gorillas are still scratching their butts..

@MrDetwaa I am not an "animal freak" but I do believe in controlling your children. This is the kid who runs up and down the isles at church, screams when he doesn't get his way and throws food in a restaurant. The animals will be okay regardless what the little kid does but as a parent, you would think you would teach your kid not to bang on ANY kind of glass. A little common courtesy to the other visitors looking at the gorillas who might be upset he is scaring them away...
