Since the de-regulation of the trucking industry during the Carter Administration parity in income diminished considerably for MINORITY Drivers, Owner-Operators, and African Americans in particular. Prior to de-regulation when most large companies were unionized African Americans and other MINORITIES suffered from extreme discrimination by the unions and companies, BUT DID RECEIVE PARITY IN PAY.

mmm. your video is made by one that hasn't been on the road. when a truck goes though a scale house they are very rigid if not unusual check. i've been inspected several times and they complain about the most meaningless things. most of those dot inspectors have never been truck drivers and don't really know what to look for and a lot of times it's a power trip. professional truckers know how to inspect their equipment better than the law enforcement ever will.
I believe DOT need to do what they are mandated to do, and that is to create safety on our Nations Highways, rather than conspiring with Trucking Companies such as CENTRAL REFRIGERATED SERVICES.
