The guy who sold the 360 could of thought it was bad from a power outage, whenever the power has went out my sisters would redlight but after waiting when the power came back on a little bit to make sure it was staying on and booting it up again it will load just fine. So maybe that happened and he didn't test it after, or something?

This is actually a load of awesome that you fix up broken down consoles and hardware, it's kinda sad when people either sell or throw out good hardware because they're too incompetent, ignorant, or just lazy to fix them, you really can find some amazing deals!!

BTW, on your Power A PS3 Pro Elite review, is there any analog stick deadzone lag?

i cant believe how dumb some of the people that list these perfectly fine "faulty" consoles on ebay are. you would think that before you go rushing to sell an expensive games console you might try and hook it up for a 2nd time to see if it works?! between that 360 and the wii you got some insane deals.  nice PS3 too

@smokslyboltx no i'm not. I don't think it's unreasonable to question why a system that isn't broken at all would be so quickly and cheaply offloaded by someone. It's silly just to presume that the seller was really hasty and stupid.

@djecho800 I've not seen a jtagable 360 in a long time. The exploit was patched almost a year and a half ago now. They are extremely rare to find sadly. Most were updated a long ago.

The one red light usually means that something isnt connected right, usually just the av cable or hard drive. The seller probably thought any red lights meant the console was bad.

@wellesraphael yup, PSJailbreak. It's the only reason I picked up the PS3 lol. I can't believe how easy it's going to be for the end user to run unsigned code. Just plug in the USB device and you're good to go. It's really expensive for the USB mod chip right now but give it a couple of weeks and the Chinese cloners will have a cheap alternative. I'm waiting for the free do it yourself method. A PS3 media center would be sweet.
