@stevekun88 hey man. i kno u probably do it now since its 10 months down the track but you should work a lot on legs too because legs being such a huge muscle release a lot of hormones etc and as such will promote muscle gain for other muscle groups used throughout the week. i went a year and a half without doing legs (theyve caught up now) and as soon as i started doing legs (twice a week) ive notice significantly quicker gains everywhere else =]
@TomMowle94 I don't do forearm workouts at the gym =/, fighting big 10kg fish and rock climbing (5-10 walls per session) pretty much stresses the forearm enough to grow, plus when doing back and biceps the forearms are worked out. My forearms are pretty much the same size are my bicep =/
@usmctorres If you're skinny, you really should be packing on some weight then start to tone down after, but when i say pack on weight i dont mean like eat anything, you still gotta keep your diet to healthy food with low fat.
hey im a big fan of goku but hes too big to compare to and hes been working out for years but like u and the rest of us were just starting =p i was curious how much do you bench because a man always looks good if he chest is big =p thanks.
definitely some gains since when you first started, good on ya.
i dont see the necessity in a gym partner to train shoulders and arms though. they're smaller muscles and dont require as much heavy lifting/need for a spotter.
working your legs will help increase growth hormones if you want a bigger upper body/arms.
You wanna gain weight, you gotta do the 3 main exercises in any lifters routine. Squats are most important, followed by deadlifts and then bench press. If you are a gym newbie doing those three alone will give amazing results
@SouthPawBoxeRr i paid for a year of gym membership and i plan to train longer, but i'll be making videos every week for the first 8 weeks to show results. after that maybe a couple of weeks i'd update.
trust me, you'll regret not doing legs. do them while you still can, there the most biggest and most important, every one regrets not doing legs eunogh, so since u just started, just letting you know legs most important!
Very nice gains, how many pounds did you gain ? And also, do you drink your shakes everyday & eat allot of food ? Since ive been slacking so bad with it maybe thats why my latest gains havent been so good :P
@Laszczka i drink my shakes twice on the day i train, i eat 3-5 meals a day (bit smaller than standard meals) i've stopped on a lot of fatty food and i dont eat junk overall
You either forgot to mention your leg workout, or you don't do legs. If that's the case need to start, Legs are the most important part. they are your foundation to everything else you do in your routine.
@TheLammsu squats, lots of reps while doing kicks at karate and boxing bag (around 200reps) my legs are already quite big not keen to get them bigger just toning.
good work, I can definitely see a difference from when you first started, especially in your chest. Just one thing to note, be careful of gaining weight because it could cover your abs up if you gain too much weight.
So whens ur leg workout lol. Do some squats buddy.
