Danny is a great guy. Great picker. The blue chip picks are great too and the ole Gibson Loar mandolin he is playing doesnt hurt the sound either !!!

Yes i have heard her. Dont get me wrong she is a very good player. Three times the musician i am. but honestly she is not in he same league as danny roberts. There are very few people on this earth that are in his league. First he has his own style to the way he plays. He does not sound like any-one mandolin player out there. Honestly its very evident sierra has tried to model her playing after the great adam steffy. She does the same licks and runs. Not that this is a bad thing...

He is a great player as well. In my opinion one of the greatest ever. But just when you model yourself after someone to the point where you almost cant tell a difference in their playing... that does not classify you as a great in my book. I just really have grown fond of Danny Roberts playing. Its like none other, and its just SO CLEAN. And if you ever get the chance to meat the guy he is a even a nicer person than he is a good mandolin player!!
