These things are complete dogs to bend. Easy to do since they pretty much refuse to crash but the results are poor. Add a 555 tone generator and an xtal selection setup with a good range of frequency and they become a little more interesting. The voice has to die though, it's terrible.
Does anyone know what happens if you hook up 9 volts to one of those small play cellphones?
