They appear to be a mix of the solos and the pros. It's got the size of the solos, and probably similar sound quality. but it also includes the dj coiled cord and two jacks on the headphones. Doesnt bring much new to the table. But then again, how much new can come to headphones?

@MegaZZZLAYER Easily the Studios. While the MIXR's are the newest headphone from Monster, the MIXR's are not going to deliver the same sound quality as the Studios. Plus with the Studios, they actively cancel out external sounds by using 2 AAA batteries. The MIXR's passively isolate external noise, which means they are not going to utilize a battery, and will only block out some noise, but not all.

@djkrypto1103 no do not do that. i have both of these headphones and the beats pro's provide a lot clearer sound quality than the mixrs. Even though the pro's are heavy, you will not like what you hear out of the mixrs. also the beats pro ear cups are bigger and fit over the ear as the mixrs only go around the ear. stick with your pros dude.

These headphones are good, they're very well built, they have a solid feel. as far as the sound quality, they're good headphones, a nice crisp clear sound. they're right along the lines with the other headphones from beats with a little less bass. The overall build quailty, construction, and look of these headphones are better than anything else

Yeah get studios. More comfortable. Which is a key thing when trying to listen to good music. As I said i returned these 2 days after for the Aluminum Studios because i could only listen to the mixrs for about 6 minutes at most and my ears would be hurting already.

I bought these on Sunday and wore them to school and just returned them today. These are really good when it comes to base and everything. But honesty I can only listen to 3 songs. 10 minutes at the most and then I have to take these off. They hurt my ears and I have to take them off because my ears hurt. So I switched them for the Studio's and I'm good now.
