That's true...Americans don't worry about forming together anymore because they are already divided. But Hmong culture focuses on the family, and bonding together in the clans, relatives. That's only why we feel so much disagreement. Americans just accept the fact that people will always disagree with eachother and who cares. Dong (Kam) are Tai speakers, they're related to Thai & Lao, but have picked up many aspects of Hmong/Miao culture.

Nobody knows with certainty where Japanese & Koreans came from. Probably mixed Dongyi & Tungusic? Their languages certainly have elements of both Sino-Tibetan & Altaic families.
