No worries my Mopar brother. I just get touchy when people use Chevy junk terminology concerning their Mopars. Your car makes me miss my Duster. Lot of memories, and a lot of street racing her and I have shared.
Love the Duster. Drove a 340 Duster in high school and a lot of main street cruising. Drive a 70 Plumcrazy 4 speed Super Bee (with a real Dana)now. One question though. What is an 8 3/4 rear that is also a Dana? No such animal.
We have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 (1%) API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs/Injection and tank clean and rustfree!
@nugget4204206 the car is a vin numbered slant 6 car, thats a 70 6 cylinder hood with 340 decals on it, nothing on it is original, if anything i saved this car. a 408 motor is a small block bored and stroked. learn your mopars before you ramble your mouth.
I love how people take it upon themselves to tell you how you should have built your car.... If they want it a certain way, they should go buy a car and BUILD IT THEMSELVES. Nice job on the Duster man. Keep up the good work

IF THATS A 1970 ITS GOT A 1971 HOOD AND 1971 GRILL AND U RUINED IT PUTTING A BIG BLOCK IN IT NOW ITS NOT WORTH 10,000.00 U SHOULD RESTORE IT BACK TO ORIGINAL CONDITION
