for those learning: just picked up this trick over the last half hour, i find it helps if u do a normal bak, fairly close to ur finger tips then go into sonic 23-12 position, if the pen ends up finding a way into ur 13 then move ur hand away from ur body (left for lefties, right for righties) along with the usual cont bak motion... that fixed it up for me... ill master it later... maybe at work tomorro, thx JE

so its like a backaround 12-12 ~> fl pass rev 12-23? or 12-34, and there seems to be many variations it, like the reverse and inverse and it seems like a nice trick for linkages

well the "fl pass rev 12-23"

would be "fl pass rev 0.0 12-23" or "fl invisible pass rev 0.0 12-23"

the whole trick does only one rotation, and "fl pass rev 12-23" suggests an extra 0.5 spin.

so maybe: bak to invisible pass, not bakpass

well the bakpass is just a little name for it, not a real notation for it, but yes i understand what you mean with the fl invisible pass

@jdtheac I think it still can be named backaround 12-12 ~ fl pass 12-23. The demon sonic is known as sonic34-23~tw. sonic 12-23. The rotation of the demon sonic is 1.5 even though the sum total of the sonic and tw. sonic is 2.5.

demon sonic is: sonic 34-24 ~ pass rev 24-12

if it were sonic 34-23 ~ tw sonic 23-12, then it would have 2.5 rotations and would look like two tricks ;)
