  • You can find my cover of this theme in my channel.

  • The best version of this game. The Amiga, Atari ST & Sega Master System were utter rubbish compared to the CPC one. Thanks for bringing back memories like that.

  • I would have killed for this version! no lie

  • This isn't the version I had - the version I had ran s-l-o-w-l-y, had no music and was so easy I beat it on my first attempt. That was £2.99 well spent...

  • Richard Aplin was definitely one of the best Amstrad programmers out there, his version of Shinobi was awesome too.

Was this 128k version ever actually commercially released? I've been searching Ebay and all the available copies are the crappy version.

  • @jesusarnold do you know what was the evolution of the carrier of Richard Aplin and Rafael Cecco?

  • by far the best 8bit computer version of double dagon, even the amiga version did not have in game music!!!

  • the music is so epic FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!

  • @DEadious You can find my cover of this theme in my channel.

  • Looks like a downgraded amiga port.Better than other 8 bit versions.

  • Looks like someone just vomited all over the screen with those colors. Weird music too.

  • thats why the arcades were always amazing lol

    but yea i miss the 464 :(

  • what was the on screen color pallet of this system again? was it 16 or a 24 color pallet ? Can't remember.

  • @wingnut4427 16 if you use mode 0.

  • @wingnut4427

    16 out of 27 (!?)

  • the music is awsome someone should remix it

  • Had they taken the CPC "Renegade" graphics and transplanted them into this game (with the appropriate changes) this could have been awesome. Still - this is impressive stuff for the time, AND IT SCROLLS SMOOTH TOO!!!

  • Even as kids we always, deep down inside thought...is any girl worth this hassle

  • looks like the best home computer version. based on the computers potential, the amiga and st versions pale in comparasin. this is just like a lower resolution arcade version compared to the other re-works that are awfull games

  • But by god listen to that music lol

  • "run menu"

    "run disc"

    "run disk"

I remember syntaxes to enter to play games in cpc6128

I remember too,the commands (in qwerty keyboard)

    Q=up A=down O=left and P=right Spacebar=punch

    SPC+dierction=kick Q+SPC=jump without hit

    A+direction+SPC=jumpkick Backdirection+SPC=elbow...

  • I had this game for the CPC 128k , it certainly wasnt like this :?

  • There are two versions of DD for Cpc, check the description ;)

  • not bad for its age

  • I own the other version.

I think the this one looks worse but at least this one isn't insanely slow, also this appears to be slightly challenging.

  • That looks surprisingly good. Especially considering the unmitigated dreck that was both C64 versions. It would be nice if the conveyor belt moved a bit (or Billy's legs, when he's holding a box), but we can't have everything... Thanks for posting. :)
