  • Songname: nice E - Duncan Beattie

  • music sounds like an eliott smith rip off.

  • whats the name of this music?

  • Sorry, I'm not too sure since this is an audio swap of the original. The artist is linked in the side though, "NATOarts." Maybe their page will help you out.

  • nice nice

  • This is clearly just a doodle guys chill. Its all in good fun if you don't like it no reason to E rage.

  • lmfao thanks for getting it :)

  • lolol I'm two years older than you for starters, so no calling me "kid" please. And yes I know this picture isn't all that outstanding, I drew it in 2007 to test a new video recording software I downloaded. Not only have I gotten better since then, but I also was better when I drew this. But thanks for your oh-so-constructive criticism anyhow.

  • i think its nice:) i make my own comics and im bored to draw everything on paper then put it to my computer, just wondering if these "palets" works well? thought of getting one but never tried it ;)

  • @Teemyster lol

  • asshole

  • Fail...

  • Amazing Drawing

    ;D

  • cara os braços da personagem ficaram totalmente disproporcionais.. mas de resto ficou bom

  • What the fuck is a tablet!!!

  • its a touch screen thing that helps you draw with your hands than with your mouse. im looken at buying one soon. very usefull.

  • unless youtube quality just tricked me i highly suggest that you use a program that the lines and stuff are factor based not pixel based it makes drawings look so much better, but great drawing anyway XD

  • Yeah I'm using flash here which is vector based, YouTube's quality just sucks here!

  • lol ok then, one more suggestion, post a screenshot for a couple seconds at the end of the finished drawing that will cut out the crap youtube video quality and show just how awsome your art is =P

  • WOW

  • ok man, i have two questions. how long have you been doing this, and what kind of tablet do you have?

  • When I made that video I only had the tablet for about a year, but I've now been a tablet user for three years. I have a Graphire 4, which has now been replaced with the Wacom Bamboo.

  • do drawing tablets require any basic knowledge to use, or do you think a beginner artist would be okay with one

  • It definitely takes some time to get used to, and they don't give you some magical drawing talent, but they're a great help in creating digital art. It might even be enough to motivate you to become a better artist !

  • do you know any good tablets between $100-$150 because i've been doing ink drawings for about a year now and i think i might want to step it up a little, and go for a tablet

  • bamboo fun 99$

  • i am guessing that a tablet works beeter than a mouse

  • REALLLLLLLLY?!

  • ooo the tablets work with flash?

  • The tablet works with anything a mouse works with! But yeah, Flash has pressure sensitivity as an option.

  • What tablet is recommended that's below 100$?

  • The Wacom Bamboo sounds like your fit :)

  • How do I stop my daughter from wanting a HP TouchScreen over a Wacom Tablet?

  • Let her know that the tablet is cheaper, AND has more functionality for the artistic types (pressure sensitivity and such). Hopefully she's an artist.

  • ZOMG NICE SHADOWING :D

  • a must purchase one of those things. good shades.

  • AHHH!!! her arms broken!

  • TRUE, LOL

  • that was pro man. I am getting a Bamboo Tomorrow

  • What program did you use to capture this video?

  • I used the trial of Snapz Pro for Mac OS X!

  • amazing picture using a tablet, my dad got me a graphire wacom tablet for my bday and I suck at drawing with it..

  • just confirmation.

is this the same tablet your using.. the...

    Wacom Graphire4 Classic A6 Tablet & Pen USB Mac & Win ?

if not, could you tell me which one it is please :) thanks :d

  • Yup, that's the one!

  • Thank you :d i'll be buying this soon i think! how much did you pay for it by the way? and do you think it would be worth paying the extra for the a5 or a4 version/size?

  • I got mine for about $130.00. Mine is a 6 x 9 (I believe), which is a really good size in my opinion.

  • O_O

    Me wants a tablet! :O

  • UM, FIRST one was better :)

  • I have flash, but since I don't have a tab and I'm not very good at drawing with a mouse, I mostly use sprites. But this is good man! I wanna learn to add shadings correctly. You should give tutorials and shit. I don't know why but you look like the type of person that can give tutorials well.

  • Lol thanks :p Maybe I will

  • that was amazing! i wanna get a tablet soon lol

but u forgot to color the eyes...

    ...or did u? x]

  • Wow, all these years (or...year) and I never noticed :P

  • i love working with graphics and art:)

  • Amazing !

  • GOOOD!

  • finally another KID that can draw.

    lol.

  • Eh? :p

  • lol. normally i only find only adults that can draw well.

    idk why...

  • What kind of brush do you use? How do you get it..like thin and thick in one line?

  • Well, I'm using a tablet with pressure sensitivity (hence, the name "Tablet Demonstration". If you enable Flash (or Photoshop, or Painter, or whatever other app you're using) to use pressure sensitivity in combination with a tablet, you can change the size of the brush as you draw a stroke.

  • i loev the drawin. its really good. My tablet isnt a wacom its a GPEN...btw what song is it

  • Greenday - Time of your Life

  • Greenday - Good Riddance

  • Ugh...I wish I can draw like that. >.< It's like you dished it out of your ear or something with ease. It's just that the shadows for her face was kind of dark. That's okay for me though; it's still pretty.

Do you think that I'll have problem drawing on a 4x5 tablet with a widescreen monitor? Just wondering.

  • Well, my tablet isn't wide screen, but it works just fine on my iMac (which has a wide screen resolution). The fact that it's small shouldn't be a problem either, since the tablet's active area will scale to the screen.

  • Okay! Thanks!

  • I have my tablet now! It's really easy to draw with. ^__^

  • i think ur shadowing for the skin is a little too dark. but hey, it's really good.

  • Well I guess I did it dark to show contrast since I'm only doing two shades per colour, but I can see where you're coming from. Thanks. :)

  • =D hey no prob.

  • I have an intuos wacom tablet.

Are those good? Mine is pretty old. Like, from 2003.

I can't draw worth a bootstrap, even on my tablet, so I guess I can stick to doodling.

  • Intuos is a great tablet. Mine's from 2004, so trust me, it's not that old. Tablets can be useful for stuff other than drawing, too! For example, I find them handy on certain flash games. :p

  • Is there a reason everyone uses Wacoms? Can't you just use any tablet PC and Photoshop?

  • Wacoms are the best brand for tablets. Most tablet PCs actually use Wacom technology, but it also depends on what the tablet PC can do. Generally, you use a tablet PC's functionality for operating the machine, rather than drawing and such. Also, a tablet PC should have pressure sensitivity to be the most effective.

  • This is frigging awesome, I love it!

  • Thanks. :)

  • How do you record yourself drawing on screen? thats cool .Can anybody tell me?

  • Well, I used Mac OS X software called SnapzPro. Most desktop recording software isn't free though. Search around on Google.

  • just type in destop recording software ok thanks

  • I have Fraps' torrent if you were wondering.

  • Lol, I agree with you. The first one was actually just for fun -- I was drawing something quick to show my friend how it worked. This one was the real deal. I didn't use paint, but Flash, and I worked most of the functionality through pressure sensitivity and colouring.

    Thanks for the great comments!

  • wats ur song luv the art

  • Greenday - Time of your Life

  • wow man, amazing drawing, would take me a good hour with a mouse :( damn the price of tablets

  • If just less than $100.00 is in your budget, you could pick up a nice Graphire 4 x 5 inch. I really encourage anyone to get one, they're great.

  • thanks! they look like a good buy

though I really have no idea what the difference between a graphire and a intuos is except the price :S lol

  • I believe that the Intuos contains several hot key functions and touch strips, so it is more useful for professionals.

  • you're welcome. i love your art, and i know the tablet doesn't have to do with the quality of shadng, just using a mouse has become very tiring to my wrist and the tablet seems more precise. thank you! ^^

  • Yes, you are exactly right. I definitely recommend a tablet of any kind to improve your drawing ability on the computer. And thank you for your comment about my art. :)

  • O.O nice... i was thinking of getting a tablet, and was just looking at at some demos. How do you know exactly where to shade?

  • You know, it's all about practice. As you probably expected, the shading skills have nothing to do with the tablet. My tip for you would be to pick a direction the light source is coming from, then make all your darker colors appear on the opposite side. :) Thanks for the comment.

  • usually u shadow in the curves and yeah, just by practice.
