  • it sounds great but i think rock and pop it ain't

it sounds like funky and maybe 70's funk at that

    but i like it

  • trying Acid Xpress 7 for the first time (in fact this type of program for the first time) -- I can't figure out why the tempo changed on several of my tracks -- it's as if they copied from one slower track to the others, which I Don't want to sound so slow - I can't figure out how to fix the tempo - do you have any ideas?

  • @Shraddha01

first, make sure the project has an appropriate bpm. if you project has a low bpm it will affect all tracks.

if it's just the 1 clip that's too slow, right click the clip when its on deck and select properties. under general, make sure "beatmapped" is selected. then go to the stretch tab and you can change the bpm. the lower the number in that tab the faster it will be. you can also alter the number of beats for a similar effect, but that can also cause distortions.

  • question. i just downloaded this and i cant find the library in which you find the clips and songs or whatever

  • wow good job i should put mine on mines the metal stuff

  • nice

  • nice man nice i use this program and i do some good beats to

  • Did you make those samples yourself?

  • wish i did :P, but naa, my friend downloaded them and gave them to me

  • Nice! I like it! But.... I have a question, I just downloaded this thing, and the sounds (soft synth) things are what confuse me... how do i put the sounds from there onto the timeline? I try to record the sounds but it wont let me, could you help me out?

  • well i haven't used this propram for ages, but ill try to help. to put sounds into the timeline, you have to look through the files on the bottom and then drag the loop from the bottom file thing onto the timeline. to record sounds just use the sound recorder with a microphone (make sure it is plugged into the microphone port on your computer).

    hope i helped

  • acid express is awful. there is one a lot better that acid but i forgotten the name.

  • Wow, thanks for the 'great' advice.

  • The free version's free...

  • I never thought that Acid was a good thing my teacher's told me to stay away from it.

  • har de har har har

  • Nice Song! The next step is Sony ACID XMC (Xtreme Music Creation). I'm a big loop person so I have about 500 loops.

  • I downloaded Acid Express. Does it come with any loops? Where are they?

I also tried Mixcraft which was nice and easy to use, but doesn't come with a large collection of loops, but at least I could find them! :-)

  • I think a friend actually gave them to me, but i don't know where he got them from, sorry. I'll try and ask him and tell you where later.

  • Very good!

  • Nice.
