This and a number of the other summer songs were so good live, but the album version of this song is terrible (much like everything else on Maladroit).
I don't know what the hell happened to this band and how they got from these songs to Green, Mala and all the other nonsense they've been up to this decade.
@TheLastPictureShow its all because people had to shit on pinkerton when it first came out... they ruined weezer for the rest of us! but this song is still great.

Without a doubt my favorite album by the weez. SS2K=what green was supposed to be! not that I don't love green but SS2k owns it hard, which is saying alot cause green rocks! :)
weeza is my fav. slob is good. rivers is great. band is coo. lyrics are interesting. wine is weird. pretzels are decent. gum is flavorless. blue album is best. red album aint half bad. pink triangle is intriguing.the greatest man that ever lived MIGHT be the best. i am still deciding. Orange is the mangoiest.
greatest man is AMAZING... but I might give the nod for best song to island in the sun... or the good life... or buddy holly... or pork and beans... no way I can pick...I don't even know lol.
I don't mind Pork and Beans but Say it ain't so and Slob are the best weezer tracks. But then again I don't know a weezer track I don't like. They are the kings

I miss the days when Weezer was actually making a point with their work. Maybe a better life for Rivers meant that his work must suffer?

Best weezer=Blue/Pinkerton. that's just that. Tired of Sex is the most wonderful, but not quite as delightful as Only in Dreams
