This is so very beautiful. I needed this. As women in the west we need to reclaim our moontime as sacred. The very blue blood that is shown on commercials still shames women during moontime. I like that you honour the blood in this video.
I must add though, I would really like this video if it weren't for the cultural appropriation. It has a great message to share; it's too bad that I can't pass it along to folks who could benefit from it.
@MedicineMovement The "why" would be that it is wrong to appropriate the culture of the people that your people killed and stole from. Your "spirit" may need a lesson in respect.
Nice message however, Native women do not run around in the woods dressed in feathers, smearing blood on themselves as portrayed in the video. You are using some Native symbols here that have nothing to do with your brand of pagan moon ritual you create for yourself. I'd suggest removing the Native music, and use of "mitakuye oyacin" as this is Native speech and has nothing to do with blood rituals. As I said it has nothing to do with Natives and is offensive to them. TY.
