This is the first game that portrayed Elaine as having the same high level of egocentricity as Guybrush. She has a celebrity complex in this game that never appears in the other titles.

I hope they make her British again in the new games. At the least they have the same voice actor for Guybrush. The guy loves doing the voice for it, I think he's even done the voice in some fan made games.

The same actress from Curse of Monkey Island reprises her role as the voice of Elaine in the new Tales of Monkey Island.

Charity James was the voice of Elaine in this game. She also played the voice of Grace in Gabriel Knight III.
