Fable 2 Glitch: Dog Ghost ~[How to]~

I just chose reviving the dog. I cared that much about him, Hell, I didn't even care about my sister. You don't even get to see her! Just a cheesey note from her! How pathetic is that? I just revive the dog, I don't give a shit about money or the people who made the spire. :O

I like the Fable II Dog, and I'm Sad that he died, But I don't like the Fable III Dog, and I'm Sad that he Didn't die. That Dog was annoying, you couldn't even tell him tricks. -_-

Guys, if you have not opened it already, the ghost of your dog will appear by your side at the demon door that likes to see the dog do tricks. He will not follow you in and when you come out he will be gone and not come to you anymore because it is open and you don't need his help there anymore, this is what happened for me and i was very sad :(

i didnt even do anything for me dog to come back. i was doing a bartending job some place, and then i stopped and poof! i had my dog back, and he was blue.,.. so i searched everything i could on here, but i couldnt find anything pertaining to what i did...

I just did that today by accident, he comes back so you can unlock the demon door in Rookridge, when you get it to open it disapears forever =(

If you leave Rookridge, he vanishes? Pretty fail if you're doing it for gameplay. But for role play, I imagine it'd be an interesting experience.

i did this accidently at work last night trying to get the barternder achievement and i was like OMG GHOST DOG YES then i left and didnt see him again and was like aww...i miss my ghost dog, i was also mad cuz i taught him like 4 new tricks and it was for nothing XD...

The Rookridge job doesn't appear for me for some reason.

I believe that you have to avoid doing the rookridge demon door, too. If you go to the door and your dog is dead, they put the ghost dog there so that you can still complete it, but he only follows you so far from the door. I think that the glitch just eliminates the boundary. However, completing the demon door gets rid of the ghost dog, and he can only be visited by going into the door.

Alright people, to much comments about Knothole Island that I had to delete to keep this clean. Read the comments before posting one. This video was made in 2008, way before Knothole Island. Back then there wasn't a other way to revive your dog.

And this IS a glitch. If LionHead Studios wanted your dog to be a ghost, why do it after a Rookridge bartender job? (Which is only available every once in a while)

@Dreamer1196 Basicly if you havent opened that demon door that down the hill which wants you to make your dog do tricks and you dident bring your dog back with your wish the demon door is still closed but a your dog will come back as a ghost so you can open the door. becuase the demon door us not too far away he will come and visit you at the Inn.

It's from memory lane. The Demon Door conjured it to lead you to it. The DLC allows you to bring back your dog, but a sacrifice is required. That kind of made me mad too. I had searched to bring it back for so long, and ended up restarting to do so. Lionhead Studios needs to think before they screw people over. -.-

Well, you CAN still get the demon door active with the ghost dog if I'm not mistaken...

the only reason there is a ghost dog there is because if you finish the game but dont bring your dog back there is a demon door that is close to him and he wants you to entertain him(you need your dog) and he will bring it back so you can attempt to open it

The dog only appears if you do as instructed in the vid. He isn't there if you don't do this, so i don't think the makers of Fable 2 intended to do this.

The bartender job isn't there allways, so you can only get the dog when the job is there.

Still think it's a special feature to get to the demon door? =/

He'll only travel with you within Rookridge. If you leave Rookridge, he'll be gone.

You can still do tricks with him and learn him stuff.
