just the chords, not the melody. that's how i would do it by myself. the electric guitar is what makes the melody such a signature for the song, so anything else might sound trite.. but by all means try, and then post it on youtube, for i wish to hear it.

yep. and gibson owns epiphone, so it is a licensed replica, just made in japan or korea, with cheaper wood. hardly any sustain..but i love it. though it mostly sits in my closet now, purely as a prop..
