Thanks!! No its not difficult at all. It is a little weird to get used to the first few times, but once you get past that, its just the same. Because I'm used to the 7-string, every now and again I play a 6-string, it feels weird to me LOL - keep goin for a string thats not there LOL

To be honest i'm not sure what was on it when I got it, but ive had it set up by my local shop, and they used a set (ithink 9-46) with a 56 for the low B

that sound in the intro is not a pinched harmonic...its feedback from the amp.john lightly touches the note to avoid sustaining and have a really quick feedback....if you want to do that you have to put your amp's volume pretty high and hold your guitar in front of your amp so that the pickups look to the speakers...i do that and it works..

Thanks. didnt play the harmonics, cos theyre normally done on the bass, and i had planned to mix me playing the bass part to this vid, ( i originally learnt this song as a bass player, then guitar) but never got around to it. maybe someday lol

thank you. if you search google for either 'powertab' or 'guitar pro' these are 2 programs you'll be able to download tabs for, which will play the tab for you to play along to. i use guitar pro a lot to learn new stuff.

Hey man. I just learned As I Am on bass a few days ago. I've got a little advice. Tune your low B string to a low C. It's makes it a hell of alot easier.

Yea, I used to do that too when I played it on bass, but its too much hassle retuning the guitar everytime, string locks/allen keys etc

yes it makes it easier for bass but think about doing a regular power chord you would have to stretch your finger one more fret.

Yea, no probs. I just use the standard 6 string E tuning with a low B (BEADGBE). a couple of other vids I have on are detuned using the boss gt8 rather than retuning guitar!
