this was 2009, the RedSox owned the Yanks for the first half of the season. I think they were 8-0 by the allstar break.. Lets face it we were all on a state of panic!!!!! then after the second half of 2009 the Yanks went on a rampage and won it all..I recall this show watching it , and yes I agree with Mike during this period the Yanks were in an horrible state, it is typical for all of us Yankee fans to be worried in April when they lose. Trust me maurice its easy sayin that a year later. But i can kinda remember that point of last season. The yankees sucked then. Arod was gone. Cc stunk then, mark teixeira was getting booed. Aj burnett was his usuall self. The entire bullpen was a mess, with the exception of mariano. All the breaks went the opposistions way. A sign of being a very bad team.

Boy was he so wrong. Why's he freaking out in April anyways? WTF is he going off like that so early in the season? Yankees historically are not as good in April and May, and plus we won the World Series anyways. Mike - you're wrong, and as much as I love you, you're way outah line here. You make it sound like the Yankees were finished for the year. It's a short series sweep, that we eventually recovered from. You should know better than to make it sound like we were done for the year.

I like Mike, but his opinion (while educated) is ALWAYS BETTER than everyone else's. Let's pretend I call up and say "I think the Yankees were lucky......blah blah blah". i am not a red sox or yankee fan, but i disagree with Mike saying that the red sox are lucky, they have great talent and the players they didnt sign went for more money. Thats how it works, I have never heard Mike call any of the Yankee teams lucky over the years. The Red sox are good for 5 years and Mike throws a fit, I guess he forgot about the previous 86 years when the yanks won 26 Rings and the red sox a big fat goose egg. yeah, he (MF) seems to be forgetting a couple things:

1. RS always beat the Yankees in April and May but never can in July and August so it's certainly no time to panic.

2. a team does not win 26 world champ's without a little luck of its own.

and he's just dead wrong on how the RS were 'laughing' at the Yankees. from what i saw they were simply celebrating not only another run but how they scored it. steals of home don't happen too often so the RS were just celebrating. quit whining Mike.

I didnt think the sox were laughing at them either, i think it was because all the players prob, never seen anyone steal home like that, yankees have had plenty of celebratory show offs of their own in the past
