Unfortunately the tourist guides are incorrect. This is the Texas Hollywood set near to Tabernas and was used in Death Rides a Horse, Chato's Land, Hunting Party and many more.
Nearby Mini Hollywood built 1965 for Few Dollars More and & used in Good Bad Ugly.
Fistful Madrid : San Miguel set Hoyo de Manzanares, River ambush Aldea de Fresno. Almeria: Marisol's house Cortijo de Sotillo San Jose, chase scenes in the ramblas and sierra Alhamilla near Tabernas and the town of Los Albaricoques.
Really, I do wish that those partcipating in internet communities acknowledge that on expressing a differences of opinion in the physical absence of your interlocutor, social graces are even more important. Curt snubs like these only serve to irritate, even more so given the fact that a cursory amount of googling would reveal many reputable sources testifying to the fact that this location, "Mini Hollywood" near Tabernes, Almeria, was ONE of the sets for Fistful and many other westerns...
For one, you could check out the locations section of the imdb entry for Fistful which states that Tabernes was a set location, or simply get a copy of the Rough Guide to Spain which is where I found out about this place.
And if I might also offer some advice: in future, you might consider checking your facts before unnecessarily irritating other members of this community with blunt assertions.
Some sets in the film were indeed constructed in the Madrid area, particularly the main street. However, other scenes were filmed here in the Almerian "desert" near Tabernes. See the imdb for more details.
