@splintercellfan2007 I can tell you this: he def. smoked a lotta pot, did mushrooms, and did acid. His biggest vice was alcohol actually. But, today he just smokes occasionally and might drink, but luckily he never got into real hard drugs.
Doesn't seem like many people care about Krist, I mean people constantly talk about Kurt and Dave but you don't hear Krist's name mentioned very much.

Kurt and dave were much more quiet.

Famous people are usually just normal people who have focused their efforts on learning a skill that just happens to involve record comanies needing to make them famous in teh media. I think "don't do heroin" is the best answer Krist could give. It is such a mind fuck to see him now. He is so...put together and "grown up". He looks like my freakin dad. Back then he was a long haired grunge stoner. I wonder what Kurt would be like if he were alive today. Would he be clean cut like this too? So weird.

I've always wondered if Krist was involved with drugs in his Nirvana/band years. I now know he didn't do heroin, and smoked marijuana. Did he do anything else?

@splintercellfan2007 I can tell you this: he def. smoked a lotta pot, did mushrooms, and did acid. His biggest vice was alcohol actually. But, today he just smokes occasionally and might drink, but luckily he never got into real hard drugs.

Doesn't seem like many people care about Krist, I mean people constantly talk about Kurt and Dave but you don't hear Krist's name mentioned very much.

@HelloFade2 Thats only because kurt killed himself and was the lead so obviously he is more famous, and dave is in the foo fighters. Krist dropped off the radar. I always say thank god for krist. If he weren't in nirvana, their interviews would be the most silent awkward interviews ever. Krist was the talker of the group who always answered the questions and rambled on. Kurt and dave were much more quiet.

Dave went on to foo fighters that's why.....which are a huge act unlike the bands Krist joined. Something tells me Krist is happy with the success he's had though.

@HelloFade2 I know right. Krist was with Kurt from the very very start. Before Nirvana and in Kurt's overall Life. He was also Kurt's best friend in the world :)

@AwesomeSauceLimited You got that right! He is the most down-to-earth cool guy to talk to! Famous people are usually just normal people who have focused their efforts on learning a skill that just happens to involve record comanies needing to make them famous in teh media. I think the public makes these people out to be "rock Gods" or whatever, but they probably wish that people whould just treat them like the normal unfamous people that they know they are.

I think "don't do heroin" is the best answer Krist could give. Whether you believe Kurt Cobain killed himself or not, Krist just came to the best answer when the DJ asked what he believed after Krist already stated that he believe Kurt killed himself and it's hard for people to accept. He could have gone in to an elaborate answer, but instead just gave a good message to the fans. This is why I will always love Krist Novoselic. He's a funny and, above all, good man.

@fatcatbuzz Most people believe Kurt killed himself. They don't know any different. I've known 2 people (for sure) who believed Kurt committed suicide. Although not the reason for their feelings, they saw Kurt's death as a way to cope with serious depression efforts. After I shared the murder information, both of them were furious...and they are still alive, many years later. That alone makes this worth it to me. And yes. Don't do heroin is a great answer.

@AvatarOfAvatar His head wasn't blown off. Its so fucking tasteless when people say shit like that. The shotgun shell used was very weak birdshot and barely was strong enough to even kill him. Its the same thing Dick Cheney shot his hunting pal in the face with a few years ago (and the guy recovered quickly).
