Correct, England won the game against Argentina in their group in 2002, 1-0. The goal was from that penalty and Argentina and England have formed a World Cup rivalry and the two countries were at war over the Falkland Islands in the 80's. So as you can see it meant a lot to the players and the fans when you beat an arch rival like Argentina, which is why the goal that beat them was on here. BTW in 2002 Argentina did not advance out of the group stage.
