@slydown2 Try comparing it to another AC-3 and see if the same issue continues. That's the best way to check if anything's wrong.

@slydown2 I really don't know. A bit of buzz can be normal, but you may have an issue somewhere in the signal chain. I really can't tell for sure without assessing the situation personally.

Es que actualmente estoy usando un pedal de overdrive Marshall junto a la Distorcion de mi amp (Fender Frontman 212R) para conseguir un tono mas agresivo

Ace 1 semana lo compre con el fin de: tener un buen sonido akustico -lo tiene- y d ke elevara la potencia de sonido aun mas que mi ampli Line 6 HD 75 (4X12), lo kual no izo lo cual me decepciono muxo,ya ke me salio karo.Y lo peor aun ke si le subo todo el volumen al ampli y al boss suena orrible,necesito tenerlo a un volumen bajo, lo cual no ocurria antes de usar el Boss. Antes usaba un Boss Distor y eleveba la potencia de mi ampli,crei ke seria lo mismo con ste. Podrias ayudarme o aconsejarme.

Si tu objetivo es elevar la potencia del ampli, estás usando el pedal incorrecto. Para eso, tenés que comprar un buen boost (clean boost) en lo posible y conectarlo como un pedal normal o en el loop de efectos (según el efecto exacto que quieras lograr). Te recomendaría comprar un Creation Audio Labs MK.4.23. Saludos.

Una pregunta: No es necesario tener amp para acustica no? Porque leí por ahi que necesitas un amp para acustica, y el otro jack era para el pedal en by-pass, pero aca veo que usas uno solo, y contás que el otro es para la consola, asi que supongo que con el amp comun alcanza...

No es necesario en lo más mínimo. De hecho, la forma en la que mejor suena este pedal es conectándolo directamente a la consola del lugar en el que toques. Saludos. =)

Sometimes a strummed electric guitar just sounds 'clangy', especially on a tinny PA in a small venue. This pedal can sweeten the strum - it doesn't need to be seen as an attempt to perfectly simulate an acoustic.

what kind of a pick-up do you use? i guess single coil? nevertheless, using single coil brings the best sound, imho. humbucker is too much powerful, hereby you've to turn the "top" knob to max... ;-)

For this video, I used two single coils. As you say, the best results from this pedal are obtained through single coils. =)

An acoustic guitar that I'd buy costs much more than this pedal. (the AC-3 isn't expensive anyway)

but this effect is especially useful in live situations, when you don't have the time to change to a classic or western guitar.

for recording, I'd use a real acoustic of course.

Hola! Al comienzo del vídeo dices que el LINE OUT es para conectar directamente a la "consola" te refieres si estamos tocando en el PC con plugins para grabar en línea??

Exactamente. Te puede servir para conectar directamente a la PC y grabar por línea o para conectar a la mesa de sonido del lugar en el que estés tocando y así hacer que la guitarra acústica suene directamente por las cajas de sonido del lugar en vez de por tu amplificador de guitarra eléctrica. Ahora una pregunta:

En la página de BOSS leí que line out es por donde va el sonido procesado y el guitar amp out es para el sonido sin procesar, y al prender o apagar el pedal se alterna entre estas salidas. ¿Cómo es que te está dando el sonido procesado y el limpio en la misma salida? ¿Hay alguna diferencia en la calidad del sonido procesado entre line out y g. amp? gracias por el video ojala respondas

Si vas a salir por linea o si usás algún buffer, te conviene usar el Line Out para minimizar ruidos. Saludos.

No usa ningun pedal especial, mas que algun reverb o delay que puede agregar en consola, El utiliza microfono en su guitarra que le llaman PIEZO que va detras del puente de la Guitarra que lo controla mediante el Switch que tiene arriba que lo hace sonar identico a una acustica y por lo general este tipo de Guitarras tiene 2 salidas, una para salida normal de los microfonos y la salida del Piezo.

la salida de Line Out es para usar el AC3 en otro amplidicador, exclusivo para el sonido acustico, si usas una distorcion y despues de la distorcion activas el acustico, suena muy mal. entonces por eso pusieron esa salida, a la hora que tu conectes en line out y en out, los dos al mismo tiempo, si tu tienes una distor y pulsas el AC3 se corta el sonido de la distor y se va el Ac3 al otro amplificador sonando como debe ser, si quires la distor de nuevo pulsas el ac3 de nuevo y suena la distor.

usando las dos salidas, es como un conmutador, el out va a tus efectos y a tu ampli, el line out va a otro amplificador.

No hay de qué. El mejor sonido se logra conectando directamente por línea. La utilización de la salida depende de la cantidad de señal que necesitás que pase desde el pedal hasta la consola. Varía según el caso. Saludos.
