Frontman as in: Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Pete Wenz of Fall Out Boy (the bass player.. he doesn't sing either). No, Alkaline Trio have no frontman. Derek Grant and Dan Andriano are much as frontman as "spokesman of the band" as Matt..

I hate to burst your bubble but Matt has always taken a more forefront position in the band than Dan or Derek (who hasn't even been in the band since the beginning), if you notice, Dan only sings 2 songs on Goddammit and tends to let Matt do most of the talking. I know Dan sings a ton of songs on other albums so don't come with that addition. I love Dan, but Matt has always been the voice of the band.
