Well obviously you've looked it up, but if you'd KEPT up, you'd know that the source of the MMR/Autism vaccine scare originated with the fraudster Andrew Wakefield and his scientifically unsound "experiments". It's called the Wakefield Study. The case went to court and all the evidence was examined. The result was a resounding NO - The facts don't support the speculative conclusion of the Wakefield Study.

Simpsonwood... haven't really heard about it. Some people don't react well to vaccines, but I'd be surprised if they would send that memo out again after a court has actually weighed all the evidence and dismissed it.

The whole anti-vaccination movement is based on pseudo-science, and now that the entire foundation it's based on is pulled away, they mostly default to conspiracy theories. Worst of all, they use the scientific method in reverse: Conclusion, THEN evidence.

Lots, but the vaccine made no difference. Smallpox declined for other reasons, and eventually disappeared because of strict disinfection and quarantine measures, after futile mass vaccination programmes had been abandoned.

Oh...this made me cry! My daughter is nearly 23, for all these years we've dealt with Autism. I wish with all my heart & soul she could have a "normal" life. It seems so unfair sometimes. I love her just as she is but...like many other parents, I want the best for her. They all deserve more, better, as much as we can give them! Accountability, please.
