2 years and 5 months ago my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer . the doctor told us he only had 6th months to live because the cancer was untreatable.2 years later he died . he was a hard worker and he never gave up.whenever he had the opportunity to help someone he did.my family went up to his hospital which was 6 hours away and spent as much time as we could with him. once we left he decided his time was up.this song was played at his funeral. and it means alot to me<3we love you grandpa.

Sometimes a sad song can be made happy. I just recently moved five hours away from my mom and the rest of my family. This is the farthest I have ever lived from them. I dedicated this song to her because she DID show me how it feels to have the sky within my reach and told me anything was possible and the sky is the limit to what I could be. Even tho she is so far away, everywhere i go, she will be with me in my heart.

2 years and 5 months ago my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer . the doctor told us he only had 6th months to live because the cancer was untreatable.2 years later he died . he was a hard worker and he never gave up.whenever he had the opportunity to help someone he did.my family went up to his hospital which was 6 hours away and spent as much time as we could with him. once we left he decided his time was up.this song was played at his funeral. and it means alot to me<3we love you grandpa.

@horserider89890 Sept. 5th 2009 my dad was killed in a boating accident. He left behind 3 daughters, me who was 19 at the time, my middle sister who was 17, and my youngest sister who was 12. He also left behind a wife of over 20 years.I know exactly how it feels to lose someone close to you.

My Best Friend died 11 months ago, in a car crash. Everyone else in the car survived. i was 12 at the time, she was 13.

this is 4 my nana, she has been in and out of the hospital, they have now put he in hospic care, she has lung cancer and there is no longer anything they can do, it kills me i cant be with her...tho i know that where ever she goes when she leaves this world that her son will be waiting for her, he passed many many years ago when he was 17. i know she okay with leaving and that she will be in a better place and she can finally be with her son, its been over 30 plus years..

This song is amazing. It's helped me through the loss of my Great Grandma. It was played at her funeral & I think of her when I hear it. Most people aren't real close with their great grandparents, but my Great Grandma helped raised me as a baby because my mom had me at 17 & had school & work. Anyways, everytime hear this song, I get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye, but think back to the good times we used to have & I know she is watching over me always.
