Sweet! Ya know maybe the iphone app would be good too, but that's way too much for a phone and way too confusing.. i don't want my phone on the course anyway.
i'm hooked on my auto gps, i think i'll go the gps route for golf too. Of course, maybe the rangefinder is the way to go to help me more with precision.

this was very helpful to me. originally i was only slightly interested in (kind of kicking the tires if you will) about a golf gps unit or a rangefinder... didn't even know where to start.
you sound like you know what you're talking about and it was nice just to get a straight forward answer. made the choice so much more enjoyable to make.
you probably just saved me $100 bucks too!
