  • Typical asswipe trailerpark remark...'lawnchair' the fat cheeseburger eating slob....tremblay more then held his own and had a longer career then that tiny goon. Go back to your cheetoes fat boy......

  • Johnathan was no idiot. He never bothered Robinson.

  • Tremblay was a punk. He went after one of the smaller Bruins Bobby Schmautz. Later he Jonahan makes him pay. Tremblay is hanging on to ref like he's hiding beneath his mama's skirt - disgraceful.

  • typical frenchman

  • robinson vs gillies that would of been a fight.

  • @SCROGY I agree it would have been a classic!

  • looked like mario was trying to give him a hug and kiss!!!

  • If there is a fighter in this league that i respec, that's Stan, this coming from a Habs Fan.

  • @malawri67 stan fought anyone at anytime. big or small didn't make a difference to him the outcome was the same stan left them looking up at the lights.you can cry all you want but truth be told montreal didn't have anyone who could measure up to him.

  • @bigpoppa2112 It would have been an all time classic if John Kordic had played in Stans era. Probably the two hardest heads to ever play the game.

  • i like how mario was trying to kiss d'amico's butt during the scrap....

  • Hey Jonathan was a tough SOB,, looked to me like Tremblay gave as good as he took

  • johnathan was hitting him so hard with the right that tremblay started begging for the left and johnathan obliged.

  • Mario should be glad that there was someone to break it up.

  • larry robinson was the habs best fighter ,stan never ever wanted to fight him nor did terry o. milbury was the only one that stepped up and he didnt stand a chance even after suckering larry.

  • @mukmoe indee!

  • @mukmoe indeed!

  • whooopty doooo, Stan Jonathan 'dominates' another middleweight.

Clark Gillies, other fighters of that era beat him senseless when he had the balls to take on a heavy.

  • @BadApplesNJ Gillies got the better of Stan no doubt. However, I can find 2 fights on youtube where O'Reilly handed Gilles his lunch! I can also find clips of Probert getting dribbled by guys like Todd Ewen, who KO'd him, and Ken Bellanger, who embarrassed him! Every good NHL fighter got his hat handed to him at some point! It happens! I've even seen Big Jim McKenzie get busted open by Bob Sweeney! LMAO

  • @BoSoxnation1972

O'Reilly, sure, he was a beast... was talking about Jonathan... but he wasn't really a heavyweight so i should factor that in... have a good upcoming season...

  • @BadApplesNJ I agree.Gillies,Wilson,that guy in ST-LOuis I can't remember his name...

  • Amazing that Tremblay actually dropped the gloves. Mario always had a big mouth but seldom backed it up with the fists.

  • another pussy canadian even back in those days they were cheap shot artists at best, even their tough guy bouchard got his clock cleaned by Jonathan was an awesome fight. Candians will always be pussies.

  • @rrsm1953 Pussies??? With over 25 cups to there credit and many fights won and you call them that. It's about putting the puck in the net moron.

  • @alan11855 oh sorry did i disrespect your fantastic canadians, you can keep them and canada also.

  • @rrsm1953 Hey, hey take a break it's a hockey game. What is your problem with Canada? Where are you from anyway?

Besides you like Celine Dion don't you?????

  • @alan11855 : there are a few good things that come out of canada she is by far one of the best, there have been a few other things, I live in Massachusetts. As far as my problem with Canada that is personal it has to do with the canadian military and disrespecting an American military soldier who died fighting for freedom. Yes I am a veteran also. So i dont dislike Canada as a whole so i will take that comment back.

  • @rrsm1953 Ok then. I am a big supporter of the military, U.S. or otherwise.

I have friends in the Marines, who was stationed at Parris Island.

I have a close friend who happens to live in Mass. and friends all across the country.

This is not a political forum but rest assured I and many Canadians strongly support The U.S.

  • @rrsm1953 this coming from a yank whose soldiers run to canada by the handful, seeking asylum. I'm glad that our so called leader has stopped granting these "pussies" asylum. Now they have to go to mexico. You must have ADD (attention deficit disorder) the subject is hockey, but I guess since americans suck at hockey, so you have to change the subject. Probably too much for you to read.

  • Jonathan changed smartly his hand middle of the fight, landing few big lefts.

Jonathan outlanded narrowly TRemblay in this solid scrap.

    EDGE/NARROW WIN S.Jonathan!

  • jonathan won,but it wasnt mario's job to fight against jonathan,it was just a mismatch

  • Watch the video again. Half way in it Johnathan pops him so hard that trembly goes into "hold on for dear life" mode. Hell, at the end of the video Trembly is so disoriented he's holding the ref's leg thinking its Johnathan he's holding onto!

  • Jonathan was supposed to be one of the top fighters of his time. I'm surprised Tremblay did so well.

  • I didnt see stan cowering behind the ref, hanging on his leg,,praying that he saves him..stan would still be pounding him.

  • Fight was a draw.

Stan's in Six Nations Indian Reserve.

    Fourth Line.

    Stan Jonathan School of Hockey.

  • blackscab your a fucking idiot, jonathan got the better of the fight, quality of video sucks i seen an inhanced version and jonathan defintly got the better half, so stick to bashing th bruins keep making stupid comments, because thats what cock sucking douchebags like you do!!

  • This fight was a draw,Mario landed the best punch. Also,do you Bruin fans respect Danny Gare, who was smaller than Johnathon and won a close decision over him.I seen Johnathon a year ago,he weighs about 280 lbs lol

  • Close fight! Jonathan punches on the break...Tremblay would have done the same if he had the chance!

  • It was sickening ho win almost every fight Jonathon has to try and grab the pants of the opponnent and try to slam them.

  • Because he was overmatched and he knew it. If he was a better fighter he wouldn't have needed to do that.

Then again Mario's got a hand full of Cup rings and Jonathan's probably panhandling somewhere in Kingston...

  • thats a good one bud,.so true

  • Hockey fights are overrated. The players can't get enough leverage on their skates to land meaningful blows and they usually end up dancing around w/ the refs trying to separate them...

  • Tremblay on his knees holding the ref's leg begging him to stop the fight, reminds me someone.....

    That's it Komisarek vs Lucic

  • The great thing about Stan is that he could switch from rightee to leftee in an instant. That kind of makes it hard as you cant tie up both of his arms, you just have to pick and tie the one you want to get beat with the least :)

  • @tabenne - Funny, before I read your post I was thinking the same thing! I'd only add that he had a face of stone and he'd just keep it comming. One thing I know is that I would't want to be the guy in the bar who accidently spills his drink on Johnathan's girlfriends dress!

  • Tremblay was a very good fighter, not as good as Jonathan, but he did really good here. I would say this was a draw.

  • Trembley made a very good account for himself here.Johnathon did not win this fight

  • I agree Trembley was tough, and I respect him as a player. However, he lost a close fight here, which is no shame at all, since he took on the toughest pound for pound fighter in history. While Stan won, Trembley won the respect of every Boston fan here!

  • I like when Trembley fought Bobby Schmatz, and kicked his ass.

  • That was one of the hardest punches I have ever seen. It took a while for them to get started but Mario knocked him into next week.

  • Mario could really throw 'em

  • Throw What! Bitch Slaps! OR Pat Roy right out of Montreal

  • My uncle was always saying that Tremblay was crazy as HEll as the guy would get beat-up most of the time but would still return to fight anybody. Sometime returning to fight the same guy in the same night! Even if he would get beat-up a few times again!

There's too much pussies these days.

  • Trembley did not fight a lot but when he did he was good, draw here against the so called pitbull Jonathan

  • Ha Ha....look at Tremblay hanging on for dear life...shouldn't tangle with a pitbull....right Mario?

  • @GTM57 Tremblay has 5 Stanley cup rings. How many the little poodle has???

btw, that was pretty close.good showing by Tremblay.

  • @malawri67 Little poodle??? hey dumbass ask big Bouchard who the "Little poodle" was that had him drowning in his own sauce after he got his ass handed to him on platter by Jonathan. and what does having 5 stanley cup rings got anything to do with this scrap? what did the rings give Tremblay magical powers?? LMFAO!!

  • @GTM57 you fuckin idiot. The game is about scoring goals and winning hockey games. And jonathan wasn't good at either!LOL!!!

Tremblay was a 20-30 goal 3rd liner you prick.Your overrated spotpicking poodle never even came close.

  • @malawri67 fighting is also part of the game to you fucking idiot, how many goals got scored in his vid? zero! This vid is about Tremblay vs Jonathan fighting. what the fuck does stats have anything to do with that? Who cares how many rings he has, I only want to see the little instigating prick gett his lights punched out, its too bad he got off lucky here, so shove your hab stats up your frog loving ass.

  • @GTM57 this is hockey you fuckin retard!not WWE,not boxing not mma.The goal is to score goals you fuckin asshole!

Your little poodle never even came close to Mario Tremblay in terms of hockey, let alone beign an agitator,ok fighter(he killed bitches like Don Simmons and Bobby Shmutz,LOL).

Jonathan was a minor ,a drunkin bum who could't make the difference between a puck and a soccer ball!

So fuck you racist jerk who hides behind a screen!

  • @malawri67WTF?? WWE? Listen twerp, I don't need to hide behind a screen to put a delusional hab fan like you in their place. Stan Jonathan wasn't on the team to score goals, his role in Boston was to protect their better players from instigator hackers like Tremplay. Thats why Cherry nicknamed him the little pitbull. All the poodle players were on Montreal, thats why they had Pierre Bouchard as an enforcer and look what Jonathan did to him. Tremblay was lucky he didn't end up the same way .

  • @GTM57 Yeah all the poodles in Montreal, you retard.Your midget hero was nothin more than a less than average one dimensional overrated spotpicking prick who's fighting record is pretty ordinary to say the least, most of his fight s were short and boring draws against middleweights.Bouchard was not an enforcer you idiot,he had 4 or 5 fights a year with an average of 50-60 minutes in penalty.Habs didn't need that kind of goon to beat the crap out of a team full of airheads such as boston!!!LOL!!!!

  • @GTM57 What's that got to do with the fight? It was long over at that point and had no bearing on the outcome. Neither guy had thrown a punch for 30 seconds prior to that. In fact Stan seemed to be the guy trying to take Mario down.

  • @GTM57 Jonathan tries the takedown at 0:17 and BTW Jonathan didnt land more shots than Tremblay

  • Jonathon went for his classic leg take down there. he was the master of that. Tremblay was under rated.

  • stan is heroic

  • I remember Tremblay as a player. He was one of the toughest players pound for pound in the league at that time.Very underrated.

  • Tremblay was probably the closest thing the Habs had to an agitator instigator type. Certainly no Claude Lemieux or Dale Hunter, but he di get under the opponents skin.

  • If you score it by blows, it was dead even. Jonathan had Trembley backing up, however, so that factor could lead some to give him the edge.

  • Trembley wasn't really a fighter,he was a gritty 2 way forward but fighting waasn't what he was a bout,he lost a decision here but did well again'st a tough guy in Johnathon

  • i'm a habs fan since the late sixties. i'm probably the only habs fan who's favorite all time player is trembly. i always liked his heart, grit, guts, and commitment to les canadiens.

  • Wow...that was a great fight....I think little Stan gets the nod. But Tremblay did well.
