    it was so cheap!

    i love it :DD

  • Great idea!!!

  • beautiful video!

Love is not a matter of counting the years. It's to make the years count.

    Greetings from Antwerp!

  • I've always used a cork board as a jewellery hanger. I put up some pictures, and inbetween pictures, I put up tacks to hold my necklaces. It looks pretty cool having the jewellery intertwined with photos, drawings, and old film tickets. It's also super nice while living in a dorm, since many desks come with cork board already on them.

  • Wow wonderful ideas good job

    You both rock!

And Soon when I finish moving,

I will try this for myself.

    "THUMBS-UP"

  • I love the tutorial, great idea and easy to follow however, I have so much jewellery it would never fit in that frame. My sister gave me a jewellery tree for christmas as well, nothing fits on it. It seems as if I am going to have to do one huge one

  • I hang my necklaces on tree branches sitting in vintage vases :)

  • What me and my younger sister did was we got felt sheets and organized my so'oh's (grandma so'oh is what we say in hopi) earrings and organized them she had a ton that didnt even match to any other earrings she gave me one felt sheet to use for my earrings but im gonna buy some more.

  • Always Threadbanger to come back with very practical ideas. What a bunch of talented people.

  • i bought earrings on donnaliza and it was fabulous! Just search donnaliza on google and youll find it.

  • EXACTLY what i needed :)

  • THIS is exactly what I need!

I've been losing earings left and right :O

  • :D

    Awesome

  • I like this idea I'm going to do .thank you

  • i always think about how she pronounces "tight" so funny, why does she do that? she sounds really sweet :}

  • i love the stick jeewlery holder idea.. so earthy

  • love it!

  • I've been wanting to do something like this but i'm soo not artistic or anything so it's cool to see that there's stuff i can do on my own

  • host is so charismatic

  • I have coat hangers on my wall that my mom put up. she got them from the dollar store, and i hang my necklaces and bracelets and scarves from there.

  • i made one of those with my dad when i was like 10 :)

  • I love Audrey hepburn!!!

this is a very helpful tip :)

    I love it

  • good idea! Thnx

  • this is awesome!!!!!

  • I love this episode. I've had a frame and screen for months wanting to this. I had no idea it was so simple. I love the multi layered stencil. I never thought of tracing off the computer. Well done threadbanger!!

  • becareful with the tracing, it's not a good idea if you have an lcd monitor. you should only really do it if your monitor is glass.

  • how can you tell if your screen is glass or an lcd moniter??

  • When you touch your screen with your finger, if it feels like glass or solid then it is glass, but if the screen bends and the colours go all wonky then it is lcd.... if you have an lcd monitor then just print off the picture, cut colour or layer out and then trace and cut out from your board that way..

  • thnx

  • I will so be doing this. Nicely done, thanks.

  • lawl, I have a fish-line on my wall, that's where I put my earrings. and for my necklaces, rings and bracelets, I have a small pvc-pipe xD but this video's solution is way more stylish xD

  • this is so going on my DIY playlist

  • Omg You were dressed as that burhan girl Im not sure how to spell her name though or remember it. x.x

  • what the name of this change screen i think i'd wanna do this

  • Love the black and white endtable at 3:49. Awesome!

  • Oh I needed this! Thx!

  • love the quick how-to on the multi color stencil!

    great posts!!!

  • This is one of my favorite episodes. I made one and it turned out so well!

  • so very clever! :D

  • hmm. I'd only put one in my room, otherwise, it's not smart to display all of your valuables out in the open like that

  • :o I love it! And it looks pretty simple. I'm soo gonna do it once I get back home<3 Thanks so much

  • Brilliant idea! I'm gonna make my own to display my earrings collection! thanks!

  • i love the screen frame meg!!! it's so cute!!

  • All the girls I know, and me, have those angel wing earrings.

  • My best friend in the WHOLE wide world, Petra Rossner, gave them to me a few years ago. I realize just how many of my pieces Petra gave me. She got a thank you note after the episode, as it made me very grateful. BFFs4LYF.

    xo, Meg

  • Lovely Audrey Hepburn outfit, Meg! :D

  • I used a cork board and pins to hang my necklaces.

    (:

You can sort them by color or style and they never get tangled.

And its really easy to decorate and they sell them at most craft stores...

    or wal*mart. hah.

  • cute idea.

and i love the audrey hepburn outfit, haha.

  • omg!

im totally making the framed earring holder!!

    u go, sista.

  • YOU go, sxybeest! Go 'head with that screen name.

    Thanks for the support!

    xo, Meg aka sexy DIY-er

  • Congrats Viva la Ruthless!

  • i love her outfit :D, and i have tons of earings, so something to hold them would be nice :D

  • And remember to NEVER use your fabric scissors to cut screens. Actually never use your fabric scissors for anything but fabric.

Neat earring holder. Now if I only wore earrings...

  • GOOD tip. I always forget stuff like that.

  • Was the winning design featured in the video? I've watched it twice and can't find it.

I do agree that Pebbles87 should have won *something* for that incredible furniture makeover!

  • i made my own earing holder out of plastic canvas!!but now i think i will make a new one!!!

LOVE yOU guys and your happy dance!!

  • FANTASTIC episode! Congratulations Viva la Ruthless!!!

  • How come whenever we stab something into our finger, and it makes us bleed, we decide the best course of action is to squeeze it. :-P Another great episode!

  • AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING! <3

  • AWESOME END TABLES

  • Gosh this idea is only getting around now?

I did this way before except i used a smaller frame and painted it myself

    a good idea for necklaces

is to get a cork board and hang necklaces off tacks stuck to it

and paint the cork board nice and colourful

    thats what i did :D

  • thats smart. I like the frame idea, but I don't have any earrings so I was wondering how you would hang necklaces. I might try what you said.

    Thanks!

  • Hey guys! I love the show (both as a matter of fact)... but I need some help. When my grandmother died I collected a bunch of her clothing to make a quilt. I learned how tireless it is to cut the tiny squares and haven't progressed much, any ways to attribute her with her clothing that I can use as something in my home? Thanks!

  • i didn't get that last project...

  • She has an image that she put through the "filter" and then it became three tonal, so she just made three stencils and probably spray painted each one in a different tone, so ya, its just a "multi layered" stencil.

  • u and your husband are SO cute! lol

  • hey my stencil

    lol

  • I dont have a pic but also with the frame, if you need one for your necklaces, you can take a frame, disect it in half, where you'll have a vertical side and a horizontal side. Take little skrew in hooks and skrew them in the top part of the frame and hang your necklaces from them......... the frame should look like an upside down L. Have fun.

  • i just wanted to point out that you look lovely in this vid :-) yay for threadbanger!

  • Hey Meg! Before watching the video I wanted to tell you that I tried your advise about reorganizing the book shelves and ordering them by their colours hence making it look more neat and the books findable. OK, first I lifted an eyebrow and thought: someone's exaggerating *singsong*, but I tried it and it really helps and is really convenient when looking for a specific book. My bf thinks I'm crazy for doin' it, anyway, he doesn't need to like it. So, thank you, Meg! And now - start the video!

  • Wow that stencil video was lame, The person who made that rocking end table soo should have won!

  • awesome job guys!!!!!

  • great episode! thanks!

  • yaaay

  • i adore you meg! thanks for doing this each week!
