The caller does it to prove the point that anything can be said on radio without proof of facts. Sharpton doesn't agree with him, but he doesn't say anything to correct it either.
Fox does this frequently and as the "Radioequalizer" I'm sure you have plenty of clips from conservative shows with the same error. I can think of an instance when it was all over conservative radio that the attack in Norway was by Al Queda, but it wasn't. News sources should report facts & not feelings. Cons & Lib

When OReilly comes on, I switch to Fox BUSINESS News and watch Judge Andrew Napolitano on "Freedom Watch." I get the news of the day and learn about the Constitution! What a deal!

@wolfengheist Al's not much of a researcher either. The clip to which the caller refers includes O'Reilly saying "I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama."
