@Massimoxha1s cool thx, gonna try it tomorow, i could browse directories but it wouldnt load any games. still it was pretty weird to browse directories on the c64 tho ;)
Using 64HDD is fairly easy. You need an old computer and the commodore 64 and relevant cable. To run a .prg you can go ahead and use the LOAD command as normal such as LOAD "game.prg",8
For .d64 you have to load them differently! Lets assume your .d64 folder is drive 9, and the game is GAME.d64, you would type in on the commodore LOAD "$GAME.D64",9
......) and then there is no picture. there is just a "READY.". This will happend with so many Disks.......including Bubble Bobble (one File Games). U know what the problem can be?
hi there :) I've try to run 64hdd with an 433mhz amd and an original c64.
ti runs realy bad. try to set up the lpt to all bios options which are available. noting runs god. mybe ur laptop is newer then my pc. why u can run it, and on my pc it sucks???? :( :(
For excample: try to run R-Type: List the first d64, run the file but then it will not start correctly from first disk (RUN). It will start normal (unpack...
I will have to try this. I have a C64 again and have been putting the disk images on floppies which works OK but it would be to directly access the images on my PC Hard Drive.
is this a horror movie!?

I never quite got the hang of 64HDD. Take a look at my tutorial for running other cheap or free C64-PC data networking.
TITLE:
Commodore 64 data transfer with C64TPC, Star Commander and TAPSERV (MTAP / PTAP)
Cut and paste the title into the bar and watch. You'll soon get the work of it.
