Using 64HDD is fairly easy. You need an old computer and the commodore 64 and relevant cable. To run a .prg you can go ahead and use the LOAD command as normal such as LOAD "game.prg",8

For .d64 you have to load them differently! Lets assume your .d64 folder is drive 9, and the game is GAME.d64, you would type in on the commodore LOAD "$GAME.D64",9

then wait for a bit

then type load "*",9 to run the game in the d64

hi there :) I've try to run 64hdd with an 433mhz amd and an original c64.

ti runs realy bad. try to set up the lpt to all bios options which are available. noting runs god. mybe ur laptop is newer then my pc. why u can run it, and on my pc it sucks???? :( :(

I never quite got the hang of 64HDD. Take a look at my tutorial for running other cheap or free C64-PC data networking.

der eine oder andere kommentar, oder den "versuchsaufbau" im detail hätte schon was für sich.

ich habe nämlich vor, die daten auf dem pc auf diskette für den c64 zu speichern, um sie dann dort zu nutzen.

also - so hab ich das jetzt verstanden - dem c64 die festplatte im pc als diskettenmlaufwerk vorzugaukeln?!? wäre ja geil, aber wie genau? für links wäre ich sehr dankbar ;)

I will have to try this. I have a C64 again and have been putting the disk images on floppies which works OK but it would be to directly access the images on my PC Hard Drive.
