Always liked Paul Fix; must have been a close friend of john Wayne, as they appeared in so many films together, going right back to the early days of sound pictures. Great videos.
Growing up watching the Rifleman, the character of Micah Torrance was somebody I looked up to as a kind, honest, hard working public servant with an incredible sense of goodness and work ethic. Even when the character went through tough times, battled alcohol and outright hatred of another, it taught a lesson that even good people can have problems, and it's OK. Why don't such wholesome shows, teaching life lessons and integrity, work on today's TV? It was a simpler time, & I miss them. Thanks
