My dream is to be a Magazine Journalist. I've always had a passion for writing. It's basically the only thing I'm good at. I hope that after I graduate college(I have 3 more years left), I'll be able to have a career in that field. If it doesn't happen I'll be devastated.

Very Inspiring, but I thuoght it only fair to point out the risks and downsides of dedicating your life to art. I am 44 years old and have sacrificed and pushed my whole life as a musician. Every musician I know my age including myself is broke and struggling to pay the bills. So be prepared to see all your peers with good jobs, nice homes and familys while you struggle thruogh life for the sake of your art

Personaly, I dream more than I plan things.

Having dreams is so essencial to us. We always need something to hang on to. Even if we know the thing we dream for the most, may never come to us.

I belive in fate and destiny too and everything DOES happen for a reason.

But like you said, you will never forfill your destiny if you don't get off your ass and act on it.

I set plans that failed, that made homeless, nearly killed, getting kicked when I was down over and over.I'm sorry but plans go no where but just to another one. If you base your life around this plan and it goes wrong your fucked. I truly think life sucks, live it as it is, dont plan ahead... Just do it, enjoy it and live.

Actually I think the karmic laws and predestination don't work together. Karma basically says that eveything that happens, is caused by your previous actions (in many lifetimes before this one). And that what you do know, sets the cause for future events. Predestination would be much more static, in that you can't change what will happen, for whatever will happen is your destiny.
