11 people don't understand how satire works.
What Brooker is pointing out here is she might be awful or whatever, but you fuel the problem by using the internet to whine about her existence; no publicity is bad publicity. He spent a good portion of another one of his shows explaining how hatred of an annoying celebrity fuels their careers just as much as those annoying fans of their's that you hate.
I would say this more an attack on the weak bullies than a defence of her though.
