  • @GamerFTW21 The problem with your comment is not understanding that Romanism & real Biblical Christianity aren't the same thing. Biblical Christianity is what it is, "Biblical" (embracing the 5 "solas") & a strict adherence to what the Bible clearly teaches while Romanism brings in its twisted ideas of Bible interpretation (such as Mary is a co-redeemer with Christ, indulgences pay for sins) & the idea that "tradition" is on the same level with the Bible. Peter & Paul, NO! Paul & Elymas, YES!

  • I wonder if they shook hands after it was over. Probably not. You can really see the enmity between these men throughout the debate. I'm reminded of Spurgeon's words, "we are at war." Reformed and Catholic, we are enemies, and this debate shows how deep the division and how hard the war is.

But the five solas of the Reformed banner will always fly triumphantly, being based on the Word of God which stands forever, Isaiah 40:8.

  • Man I love this I cant take my eyes of the screen and I plan to take notes from these vids. Thank you for making this available for me.

  • The facts speak for themselves, if someone wants to take an afternoon to read Clements letter (from 95AD) and the 7 letters of Ignatius (from 107AD), one will read men who sound Catholic. If Reformed folks will let the early fathers speak for themselves, and READ THEM FOR themselves without James White cherrypicking, they will become a Catholic like I did.

  • @PhineasTouch The facts do speak for themselves & they prove your nonsensical comment completely wrong! James White is not cherry picking but is just touching the surface of a vast subject. We have a website you ought to investigate called HISTORYCART COM which is completely devoted to early christian church history & the church fathers which will prove you wrong. Next see our Youtube video, "EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH HISTORY PROVES ROMAN CATHOLICISM FALSE." Next we our 16 hour series on Romanism.

  • I, for one, can hardly listen to Mr. Butler. His stuttering, stammering, adrenaline rush style is tremendously off-putting. My eyes just glazed over after awhile. Hopefully, for his sake, he's much better at debate today. At the very least, if he has not improved greatly, he really should be writing rather than speaking. Or perhaps it was nerves. I don't know.

  • @Pilgrimsarbour Thanks for the feedback. Our ministry, at this time, has 291 videos on Youtube- dealing mainly with Christian apologetics & evangelism & we have many more debates with Roman Catholic spokesmen available since you don't like Scott Butler. Please type "LARRY WESSELS ROMAN CATHOLICISM" & then look for our various debates concerning indulgences, the Virgin Mary, the Gospel, etc. Our latest upload is ORIGINAL 'BIBLE ANSWER MAN' WALTER MARTIN SAYS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS CORRUPT.

  • @CAnswersTV I am taking notes. This information is helping to build my faith, SOLA Scriptora for life.

  • @supersman2000 Great comment! You may be interested to know that in the last several days we've uploaded 2 videos on the subject of "Sola Scriptura." You can see them both presently on our channel page (click "CAnswersTV") or type "LARRY WESSELS SOLA SCRIPTURA" in the YOUTUBE search box. The titles of the two shows are: "SOLA SCRIPTURA DEBATE: THE BIBLE ONLY OR MUST WE NOW ALSO HAVE ROMAN CATHOLIC TRADITIONS & RITUALS?" & "WITHOUT "SOLA SCRIPTURA" (THE BIBLE ALONE), WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH?"

  • @candiceevans1 As an apologist myself I wouldn't doubt it. That's what happened to me.
