  • DMXell! I wondered what the heck happened to you. explains why you haven't made any videos on your other account.

i'll unsub from your old one and sub to this one.

  • Hey Macintech, A week or more ago you had some information for me on how to get Safari to work in Linux (Ubuntu), just wondering if you still have that info. I do have you added as friends list. If you lost that info, thats cool, not a big deal.

  • Look for Play on Linux. It has an automated script that will do it for you.

  • Ok yeah thanks Macintech, I did install Safari before with the "Play on Linux" software, didn't exactly work out, but I'll try once more with the newest "Play on Linux" version. I thought maybe you had another alternative way.

  • There are other methods. Originally I was going to link you to one. Google for "safari in wine" or something along those lines.

  • Just to add, I've used: Adobe Premiere Sony Vegas Avid Composer Avid Express iMovie Final Cut Express Final Cut Pro/Studio SpeedEdit ... and very old analog Tape editor I've found nothing better than Final Cut Pro, however SpeedEdit is really good if you need to get something done fast. SpeedEdit is actually almost on par with features that FCP and some of FCS have. Still FCP is my favorite.
  • Sorry, 1 yr. out into college = just out of high school. And Emeek is a post-production digital artist, not a copy editor. And that thing you just at that Chinese restaurant, it wasn't chicken. Quit your sniveling.

  • Says the guy that has no video's...

  • Says the guy who has no videos. Yep.

  • Yeah.... 1 year out of H.S. and we've had the following released: Mac OS X Leopard, the iPhone, the new iMac's and keyboards, the Macbook Air, Final Cut Express 4, Aperture 2, etc. 1 year, in terms of technology, is a long time.

Did I ever say emeek77 was a "copy editor?" No I did not.

Wtf are you talking about with the CHinese restaurant?

  • Only a kid a year out of high would insist he's not a kid a year out of high school, and critiquing Emeek on his spelling is like critiquing Picasso on penmanship.

  • I don't critique emeek on his spelling in general. THe problem I had is that he spelled my user name wrong. That's completely different as it's an alias, not just a word.

Call me a kid if you want to, that's your opinion. I'm not the one who is lying, making up facts and cursing out the people I don't like now am I?

  • hi good see you back

  • Hey William,

    Good Video... 5/5

Thanks for adding my link on your blog, I returned the favour :)

  • A+ and a gold star

  • That music in the background is creepy, LOL! Kinda weird how Emeek thinks you're a Mac Poser.. I like your videos because your videos are "non-fanboy-ish" :D Well great video!

    Actually Emeek replied:

    TheMacUnderground (8 hours ago)

    "Good shit."

  • a poser is someone who pretends to be someone that they aren't. like a person pretend to like something when they dont, just to impress the public

  • Yeah, but how am I pretending to be a Mac user when I own two Mac's and use them very often because I want to? I believe it means something else to emeek.

  • very well said macintoshstudios. you and emeek have 1 common thing; you make great vids that help out mac users or people willing to switch to mac. I mean before i switched to the mac (6months ago), i used to watch your vids (dmxell) and emeek's and learnt alot from them (thanx for that). You're right man! mac vs pc should chill but its funny; theres stil alot of ignorant windows users out there; i get dumb comments on my vids but i choose to ignore them because im me; som1 else wouldnt.

  • i still like emeek77

  • do a review on the mouse please... its the mx revlution right?

  • Yes, it is an MC Revolution. I did a review on my blog actually.

  • According to Emeek, so-called "Mac posers" are people that like Macs but they:

    - don't like Emeek and/or the way he acts

    - point out flaws with anything to do with Apple

    - use their brains

    - aren't completely loyal to Apple

  • In that case, emeek is a Mac poser himself, since he owns an Alienware... and it doesn't matter how much he claims he hate it, he still owns one.

  • Epic Video. It's epic vid after epic vid, I can't take the ownage!

  • I agree we shouldnt make fights until the new OS's come out.

  • Well, iT's not Emeek's fault, pc-zeolots starts all the time with lies n false arguments. That's iT.

  • All they do is try and make him angry. And he gives in.

  • iGuess He do.

  • yea this mac poser stuff is getting a lil insane and if emeek77 aka Eric is Macunderground o well... I thought it was funny to be honest and he was just trying to get supporters to join the good fight. it kind of works out like a superhero where Eirc was just trying to hide his identity although he has yet to come out and say it was him.

  • Yes he has admitted it in a comment but not many people saw it because, well, it is merely a comment!

  • *and

  • Good video.

  • I totally agree. Ant thats it.

  • I really didn't care about macunderground. And besides most of you guys keep saying that it was emeek77 and howdydoo. but I've really haven't seen anything to proof that it's also howdydoo's channel. emeek maybe. but then again i didn't care. I don't like howdydoo or Moldytoaster. if you ask me both howdydoo and Moldytoaster are working more together them emeek and howdydoo. So, just stop this madness. Please.

  • MacUnderground is obviously Emeek77, you can tell from the speech patterns, pronunciations, the way he phrases things.

  • wat is a mac poser?

  • hmm interesting

  • lol

  • Huh?

  • wat is a mac poser
