It amazes me that ten dollars is such a huge deal to some people that they constantly scream about how expensive Moleskines are.

I don't know why I'm bothering, because no one who's already predisposed to hating the product will ever change their mind, but find me a notebook that's just as nice, and a better price... and I'll be happy to admit you've found a cheaper yet still nice notebook.

Who cares? It's ten bucks. I'm poor, and I can afford to buy a couple per year.

I'm a MAJOR Moleskine fan. I really, really love my Moleskine. To death.

However, there is a cheaper notebook that is just as nice: The Picccadilly notebooks. They are damn near identical, save for two aesthetic changes. #1 - the covers have a slight lip that overhangs the pages, and #2 there is a "stitched edge" look on the covers.

They are half the price, just as nice, and work just as well.

However, I'm sticking with my 'Skine out of love. At least for the time being.

The official Piccadilly website lists the "small" notebooks (equivalent to the "pocket" Moleskine) at $7 bucks, and the "medium" notebooks (equivalent to the "large" moleskine) and $10.

I can't find MSRP for moleskine (nor can I find piccadilly's on Amazon)... but those prices are right in step with what I pay for my Moleskines.

They do look nice though.

Moleskine or not, I think people should be free to spend their money the way they want and use it to whatever purpose they wish. Nowhere in this video is he telling you to do the same.
