hey notradaya, I'm a bobbis girl too, currently doing inter 3 for the fourth time arrrggghhh! I was looking at your knee grip out. I think you need to angle your legs so your cross your feet over some more. I've been watching your clips and practicing my leg hang into the static v and it has been a great help. I watched your other clips and I think you are an amazing dancer. And I agree with you, Bobbis is amazingly hot and talented. Keep up the great work, I look forward to your next video. xxx
I know! Lame right? stupid Warner music group... I can't fault YouTube anymore for the music crap... it's the record labels that are the jerks here.... they're the one's running around suing people for downloading their music too... YouTube is just not playing ball with the bully, and I can't fault them for that.
I love how you take your reverse aysha and rotate out of it with a twisted grip. I've been struggeling with that twisted grip and this showed me a different way to get into it. I think you just made it doable for me! awesome video.
you know i've been doing this version of aysha for ages, I can't get a solid grip any other way so when i started analyzing the twisted grip handspring i realized once i got the initial lift, or in my case jump up... it was just getting into this position... so yeah, it should help you get the TGH for sure! do this, then come down out of it as controlled as you can to the floor... that will give you an idea of your path of ascension for the TGH.
thanks! i have no idea why it's called that... we call it a static v at the studio... one of 3 ways to do it... maybe someone named aysha did it as her signature move so her pole friends named it after her... that's how some of them get the names in our studio!
kool song/chant.. i like the move at the begining. I just started messing around with that weird grip. Feels weird because the wrist is upside down and backwards! Anywho, to help with the knee hold, take the heel of your bottom foot and hook it on the top/front of the ankle of the foot thats on your top leg.. push your hips outward (squeeze the butt in) when you get into position. Its painful but youll find a spot that doesnt bruise eventually.! hope that was helpful.
Aw thanks Karol! I'll try that in class tonight if my shins aren't too sore from last night! :D I got the idea for that first move from your last vid... I must admit your version is way cooler looking... I need to slow it down to get the right effect. I don't mind that grip though, it surprisingly feels comfortable for me. weird. :)
oops! re watched and realized you were talking about the upside down move... yeah, it feels weird but we've been doing it in class a bit, so I'm getting more comfortable with it... trick is getting your shoulder around to the other side, once there it's not so bad. I was referring the the airwalk the first time i commented. that was what I stole from you!
I believe the song is actually sanskrit chant.... some study of sanskrit may provide you with the meaning of your screen name... either way it is beautiful as is your polework....all the best to you!

Love the spider legs in your open-grip aysha! By-the-way, does anyone know why we call it the aysha?

Oh, I like static V. I'm going to start calling it that (and tell everyone that your studio named it.) More descriptive, for sure!

yeah, it's a pretty cool move. It's really nice if you can get it really slow, REDKE71^^^ has a really good clip on one of her more recent vids.
