  • Hey Bob go fuck yourself and h.r.324. Having a nation run by politicians and cops is just what we need.

  • Bob's a Boob!!

  • I am glad to see all 18 of Bob Filners friends are in support of him.

  • Hon. Rep. Filner voted Aye for HR 3590 & HR 4872, which is not surprising given that his district is Gerrymandered to the point where over 60% of registered voters are Democrat. This will reduce the amount of money that hard working individuals and businesses (a large business is now any business with 50+ employees) to freely spend themselves. The benefits are not enacted immediately, do not cover everyone, takes money away from medicare, and creates another large Gov't program.

  • Glad you are robustly supporting a public option and very glad to have you as my Represetative in Washington, D.C.

  • Rep Filner - If there is no cap on profits and no Public Option; but there IS a mandate - There will be an open vein on our necks and an historic cash windfall for the same corporations that created this nightmare.

  • Bob, I love you. I wish there were more people like you out there doing the will of their constituents. Keep up the good work. I'm proud to have you as my representative!

  • glad to see my congressman is supporting this :)

  • Bob, Thanks for taking a stand for the people. Big monied special interest are fighting what should be a common service in the world's richest country. Yes we can. Happy Birthday.

  • Awesome, Bob. Glad you've been and are still my congressman.

  • Repubs destroyed our economy and now they want to keep us from health care reform? I say we stand up and fight.

  • Yay for San Diego!

  • Sadly, Brian Bilbray is the representative for my district. I need to move to Chula Vista.

  • Nice! We need more Democrats to commit to drawing a line in the sand.

  • medicare is broke and you are FOR a program that spends more money that we don't have? You also did not even consider fixing the medicare system we do have in place

How about a tax break to people that are uninsured to help with their cost? How about putting restrictions to private health care providers in rejecting applicants or taking them off their coverage?

AFFORDABLE to who? No one in the end.

  • Medicare is not broke, but it will be in 10 years unless we reduce costs. The reform he's talking about will give uninsured people help with the cost and it will prevent insurance companies from rejecting applicants or taking them off coverage. You should read the bill

  • The house package takes five billion from medicare so it will be broke in less than the ten years you predict. What? You didn't read the CBO report?

  • this man is an idiot. Go checkout how Canada and England are doing with their healthcare program. what we need to do is fix our current system not replace it.

  • The reform system isn't like England or Canada, but while you're asking,. Their health care system is fine thank you.
