Ask yourself one question: If Institutions of Higher Educations (Universities/Colleges) would allow good, decent, law-abiding CCW holders to carry their firearms on campus... would events like this happen as much? If you're in a bank while it's being robbed, would you ask the bank robbers politely to put their guns away in hopes that they will see the moral correctness in your words? Making gun possession wouldn't solve anything. If no one has noticed, it's not all that hard to obtain illegal shit, guns wouldn't be any different. Secondly, why disarm a nation when instead it can protect itself. If teachers started carrying guns kids would think twice before shooting up a classroom. And lastly, remember prohibition. To each their own. But coming from my personal experience at a gas station I saw what it was like to be helpless and in the hands of someone with a gun. They had all the power. To say we should not have guns at all is a pure thought. Yet very unrealistic... I am a little bias though, I grew up with the lead snipper of the county haha

Ask yourself one question: If Institutions of Higher Educations (Universities/Colleges) would allow good, decent, law-abiding CCW holders to carry their firearms on campus... would events like this happen as much? Gun-Free zones and their restrictions are nothing more than free killing areas, because a CCW holder obeys the law and won't carry there. This idea of protectionism only allows tragic events to happen... and even to promote them.

I can find such little circumstances in which the average joe needs a gun. hunting-sure that makes sense. but things like having a hand gun in your house for "protection". Anyone can have a gun in all sorts of places around the world, not just the US. I used to think of guns as evil until I went to a shooting range and understood that it has nothing to do with the tool but the people behind it. Poeple can kill with many things. IMO this is more about why are people angry enough to start shooting and killing? There are many people today who can't afford a roof over their head and food in their stomach here in this 1st world country. This is sad. D:

Though i can pick up a rick and kill someone with it, that isn't the rock's purpose. The purpose of a gun is to cause harm-whether in self defense or not is irrelevant- and it shouldn't be as easy as it is to buy tools of killing as the US makes it.

If there's one thing I found You Tube it's that this world is filled with people that would probably benefit from a long stay at a professional institution. Those people I categorize as pitiful. Why dont you scroll down then to see what my problems with guns are. i just briefly tried to explain, that a nation whose inhabitants have emotional issues as the USA does, should not be allowed to carry weapons which can kill with ease. Yes i know if you want to really kill someone you can do it no matter what you have, but having to use a knife or blunt instrument still provides a buffer, with a gun its just squeeze when youre in a rage leaving no time to think it through.

No, it doesn't. All kinds of things can be obtained without permission from the law. All you're doing by prohibiting guns is taking them away from people who would use them for non-criminal purposes. A mass murderer isn't going to think twice about buying an illegal weapon for fear of going to jail.

If you're in a bank while it's being robbed, would you ask the bank robbers politely to put their guns away in hopes that they will see the moral correctness in your words? A few heavily armed men can take out a crowd of unarmed civilians with minimal effort, but give each of those civilians a gun, and the threat of those heavily armed men will be eliminated before the police even have a chance to react to the situation.

Gun laws don't prevent mass murders from happening. They only aid mass murders from occurring due to a defenseless population. Do the research. Every single mass murder in the history of mankind has occurred within a gun-free zone. Find me JUST one that has not.
On a side note, Norway is a gun-free zone and one of the worst mass murders in history of mankind took place there. Gun laws weren't so useful there.
