@LeGrosWinnie cause konami ripped them and put them into the other games. they may have retooled a couple of them, but basically have been reusing the same sprites for all this time.

See, this is the Maria I THOUGHT Konami was releasing as a DLC char in Harmony of Dispair.... But no, we get the kid, 12 year old version that's already appeared in Rondo of Blood.... Man...I really wished they would have released this version instead... :(

@Sukuraidogai Well everyone could just use adult maria but that to me would be very awkward. In symphony of the night endgame alucard is stronger than maria though he does lack does invincibility frames like maria when using her blue dragon spell. Also in harmony of despair someone found a shield rod sprite in the game. So here's hoping konami gives us a treat and give the shield rod to alucard and not nerf it!!!

I think that canceled ending was a part of the bad ending, only that alucard kills richter closely, then came maria say this text:

NO, I think you can save, but what I meant was you can't just use the 'data copy' option from the main menu.

I think it might be a joke though, I just saw it on some internet cheat site, but places like wikipedia say you can't play as Maria in the PSX version

There's no secret button combination, no name entry, no code to do it.

In the origional game she stared in she could have Replaced the Entire Belmont Clan She had Speed agility Manovrability across the screen in a way Richter couldent even compete with and did just as much damage and if you aimed her birds right they Double hit while you were avoiding a attack
