This may sound weird but the first time I finished metal gear solid 3 it took me 5 minutes to bring myself around to shoot the boss because I got so into the game. And then in Eva's explanation about the bosses mission I like cried. Then watching this brought back good and sad memories :')

After the song is done playing the credits are still rolling and then after the credits, Ocelot calls someone on the phone but you can't tell who the other person is because they don't respond. It's a onesided call. Credits to Tim Rogers for writing about it before.

I loved the drama and story of Metal Gear..although MGS4 made me teary eyed in multiple cutscenes; Act 3 (london) End, Return to Shadow Moses, Act 4 End, The Snake Crawl [especially this one], The Fight, and the credit song. I love Metal Gear Solid 3 more, I don't know why, I hope Rising won't disappoint.

@MechPhantom Naked Snake is Big Boss, the original Snake, his three 'sons' are Liquid, Solid and Solidus Snake.

Solid Snake becomes Old Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4 due to his accelerated aging.

You play as Solid Snake in MG, MG 2, MGS 1 and then you play as him when he is Old Snake in MGS 4.

Big Boss is presumed dead at the end of MG 2, but he isn't, this is revealed during the credits in MGS 4.

If you've played MGS 3 then you'll know who she is.

@Gjallarhorn91 twin snakes... the version i have, i really wish i wouldn't have. the reason is because twin snakes is a total badass game and makes sons of liberty look like it could've done better. you can still do so, but keep that in mind, it took me a while to realize why i hated MGS2, that was a major factor.

either way, i'm positive you'll like them.

and try to get MGS4, doesn't have to be ASAP. i got a PS3 because of that game, my 1st PS3 game was GTA IV. give it time, you'll get it :)

@macfreak18 I gotta be a nit-pick about this. Sorry. But MGS3 was actually the fifth game released in the Metal Gear saga. It's Metal Gear, MG2, Metal Gear Solid, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4. Again, sorry, but I CAN'T let that go unammended. So few people have ever played the old Metal Gear games. I was lucky to play the originals on hand-me-down MSX units.
