@camprockaz They don't really mention her at all in the book, either. I think she's mentioned only one time between the second and third books, then she was a big part of the fourth book.

How does this scene work, timeline-wise? Those two are running as fast as they can, once they get away from the fight there's other people who have somehow heard they got away, and then when they reach the empty building the scary lady and her bodyguard just stroll in as if they've been there all along. Am I missing the timetravel element here?
