@stuntman229 naw not really...... they just got a bad rap tho mine is 2003 lariat 6.0 its got 160,000 miles n the egr is gone and it has a strait pipe n intake and i work the fuck outta it 14,000 l dump trailers and a 10,000 lb boat are standered n its never once backed down the only thing ive replaced knock on wood is the ac compressor

Difference is, 7.3= Slow but bullet proof engine 6.0= QUicker/Faster Powerstroke engine, but Will cause you to swear like a sailor when you start working on it.
