And I think the reason he gave her both eyes was because he probably felt that it was his fault she's in that condition. He probably wanted her to return to her life without him there to interfere or cause her any more permanent damage. And because he loves her of course~ =]

Actually, I think the song does fit, because when she could see again, she probably felt he just left her because she couldn't see or he got bored of her and that would break anyone's heart. The song is about how she feels when she read his note and how he was no where to be found. It brings out more of that emotion by making it sound like he didn't really love her until you see the end and realize that he truly did. At least, that's what I think. I really liked the video and the song.
