Actually, 90% of people regardless of weight can feel the first beer. and that's Canadian beer. Then it plateaus for a few more depending on weight. Almost everyone can feel the difference. If someone can't it's usually because their nervous and circulatory systems have taken in so much alcohol they no longer can detect it so early.
That same guy had a heart attack a few months later. While we were playing hockey. He was clinically dead for 8 minutes. He was revived on the bench by a player that was a paramedic. He's alive today and still playing puck.
Tough as nails! He was smiling about it almost immediately. Not sure how things turned out at the hospital. Looked like he burst a vein in his cheek or something.
